Only certified self-contained vehicles displaying the green ‘responsible camper’ sticker are permitted to stay overnight at these sites, and for a maximum 2 night stay.

These reserves are monitored daily by a local security firm, and any unauthorised campers may be issued with trespass notices.

The best freedom camp site we

The best freedom camp site we've experienced in our travels throughout NZ. Worth the wee drive out. Clean toilets...Nice to hear the waves crashing on the beach. Short stroll to pub aling the road...Handy to the Coast Cycle Wine Tours also. Overall, an awesome experience... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...

A very pleasant stop over

A very pleasant stop over right beside cycle track and beach. Plenty of space for large vehicles . Donation box by toilet.

Nice camp plenty of freindly

Nice camp plenty of freindly people toilets good, fishing and good bike rides.
Little road trafic noise.
