stayed 3 nightson the Art Deco weekend in Napler, the first night we were allocated a camper van site well away from all the amenities. the second night we asked for a site a bit closer and this was agreed to, came back to the camp after visiting Napier only to find a bunch of tents on the site, turned out they just decided that this was a good place to pitch their tents. Nso problem as there were plenty of other powered sites available. The only complaintbout this site is rge lack of somewhere dry to put your gear when you have a shower and thee fact that a shower costs a dollar, silly when you can leave the basin hot taps running as long as you like.
Lovely spot to stay at (when not inundated by ducks). Gorgeous trees, lovely waterway, friendly semi-permanents and awesomely friendly camp manager James. Very obliging and great guy. We are self contained so don't use the kitchen, but we do use the laundry and shower (while our shower is under repair). Fab showers. Big mature trees throughout the park, giving it a lovely park appearance.
