Seems like the majority of campers here are permanent but we were welcomed by both the hosts and the campers around us. Right next to the lake - perfect for the kids and close to Taiery mouth and its magnificent beach, so plenty to do in the area.

Great fish and chips in the village, a four square, gas station and a nice pub too.

Downsides? Railway line runs meters from camp so noise (including in the middle of the night). Facilities a bit basic, but clean and functioning.

We'll stay here again becuase of the lake and river mouth, oh and yes, the great fish and chips!

Nice camp, close to the lake, reasonable showers/toilets/kitchen. But beside railway line. Some permanents. The place could do with a paint and new lino here and there. The 2nd ablution block is very close to the water table, was flooded out when the lake flooded a few months ago, still closed today, late Aug 10.
