Small camping grounds, though reasonably neat & tidy, limited facilities during peak times. Great location, right beside small safe lagoon, the beach. Tennis courts & bike ramp all within easy access. Owners live a few hunderd meters away and have the property on the market.
If the fees were anymore then it would rate two stars, why, poor lighting in the facilities, bushes growing beneath washing lines, weed clearing needed etc...

Thanks for that comment. We are the new owners of the Moeraki Boulders Holiday Park formerly known as Hampden Beach Camping Ground. We now live on site and have improved the camp a lot. No bushes under clothes lines...no weeds...upgraded showers/toilets and laundry. New TV lounge, WIFI Interent, children playground, trampoline, bikes etc. plus plenty of information on the things to do around Hampden Beach (penguins, seals, boulders, fishing...)
Come and check it out.
