Pounawea Motor Camp

Absolutely love staying at this wonderful spot but unfortunately my friend and my opinion has been very soured by the treatment from the owner in one aspect. The day after we returned home I realised we had been overcharged $30(yes I know its only 30 but to some of us thats a lot). I immediately rang and explained(we had pd some cash,for which we werent receipted and the rest on visa. Was told will get my partner to do it. Have had many phone calls to them,but never received the calls back I was told Id get,sent copy of visa receipt as aked ,emailed,allowed time to reopen after covid.Did all they asked BUT get NO communication back and no return of our money/
This leaves a very sour taste especially when Ive stayed here 3 previous times and my friend had stayed here regularily every year for many years. Seems loyalty doesnt even make him reay our money

Motor camp in the old style. Small but clean and tidy. Sheltered in a southerly. Nearest shop 4km away. Plenty of room for the kids to run about. A walkway to the mudflats and crabs starts at the rear of the camp.
