Stayed here in winter, the site was fairly busy, which says a lot. Nice little site with good, clean facilities. Pet friendly which is good to see. Our hosts were very helpful.

A good base to operate from. Although Wairoa has a bit of reputation for gangs we didn't see any evidence of this.

We have stayed at over 35 camps while touring NZ and would rate this as being right up there with the best.No hesitation giving 5 stars here.

This would be the cleanest, friendliest camp we have stayed at. We stay there with our 23' van on a regular basis and Billy and Sharon really go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Rigs of any size can usually be accommodated provided the camp is not full.

Water, power and grey waste sump at all powered sites and a good dump station.

Kitchen, ablutions and laundry all immaculate. Rates are very reasonable
