Whakapapa Holiday Park

Good campground in nature.

2 adults, a 3 year old & a 6 berth campervan.
We stayed here for 2 nights.
Only a few big sites, but we did not get one.
So our campervan did not fit on it completely.
But the sites are nicely surrounded by trees.
Toilets end showers are basic and not too many.
The trampoline and barbeque are broken and/or not existing and will not be replaced.
But who cares, everybody is here for the nature and that is beautiful.

Would not recoment this campground. You have to put your tent up on little stones. No power in the bathroom,....

Nice clean camp with sites set into the bush.Would not suit bigger vehicles when busy as sites not extra big.Nice clean amenities.Close to DOC information centre and The Chateau. Lots of good walks in the area, small shop on site, cabins and lodge available.Paid $34.00 for a powered site for 2.
