A great spot for bird

A great spot for bird watching, fishing and flounder when they are running. Good for torpedos, surf casting and launching small boats. Be aware that the tide goes out a long way so a tide check is essential before launching! Handy to the Miranda Bird sanctuary also a hop step and jump to Kaiaua Service Station for fuel and supplies, good fish and chip shop and a Hotel where they do a lovely meal at a very reasonable rate.
