Friendly reception, older but clean toilet/ shower facilities, powered sites almost on the beach. Little road noise. Could do with some professional tree trimming or replanting to enhance the site.

Very nice. We paid 19$pp for powered site.(april 2015). Would be 5 stars if the water temperature in the showers could be controlled (a bit too hot for me) also the lights work on motion sensors... bring a torch when showering after dark. Well maintained sites with good facilities, good benches and nice ocean views.

Excellent site. Approx 10 mins south of kaikoura but well worth the drive. Right by the beach. Dolphins swimming just off shore. Good, clean facilities. Washing machines and driers available. Large pitches. Definitely recommended.
