As of late March 2016 this

As of late March 2016 this camp is no longer open to over night stays. It is patrolled and a chain across entrance. Last avaiable camp ground is Cascade Creek and is well signed as the LA ST CAMP SITE before Milford Sound.

Probably the camp with the best view - with sites right on the lake shore. Theres only a couple of spots here though - and no doubt it will be busy. If you heading away from Milford and this is full then go to the next one on the road - Cascades, if your heading into Milford go to Gunn's Camp - its a hoot - and recharge your camera batteries for shooting on the Sounds!
