Ngawi Camping Area

Loved it here and lucky enough to have super low tides so paua on the menu! Friendly locals, loved the semi retired bulldozers putting boats in and out. There is a warning about taking large vehicles to the light house but it is not a problem. Seal colony well worth a look. Toilets available opposite camp site which are spotless and come with a very happy gentleman who cares for them. For those of you who are into golf there is a golf course within a handy distance although I have no idea how you would hit a ball in such strong winds! Will be going back!

Nice little place, toilet accross the road , fishing ok got enough for a meal, seal colony and light house further down the road,
We parked up on thursday 3 other vans on sight next morning another 25 turned up it was the local rally club for the m/ homes.
By the notice board you can stay for up to 21 days, ( you will need some big holding tanks) for that period because there is NO dump station or fresh water.
Can't wait to visit again.
