I have just visited Tolaga Bay camp again- and think I was a little generous giving it 5 stars last time. Probably because I love the location so much. It is a great camp, and super friendly - but the showers/toilets could be cleaner and some latch to keep the dorrs on the showers would be nice too! Highly recommended all the same. Paid $15 for 1 person on power.

Great location right on the seafront with towering cliffs above. Some nice kayaking here around pourewa island (the camp does offer rentals), and excellent walking and fishing.
Clean and tidy camp, very friendly and helpful owners. Powersites were flat - and plenty of room to spread out. Highly recommended. Paid $14 for 1 person per night powered site.
