Glorious sunsets, golden sands, refreshing swims in crystal clear water, access to Abel Tasman tracks and brisk cold showers all contributed to the magic of this location. Mid March was a quiet time of the year giving us many choices in finding a tent site. The daily fee was quite high ($15) compared to other DOC sites.
Beautiful spot in the Abel Tasman national park. This is a Department of Conservation camping ground - with no power, so come fully charged up. A bit of a mission to drive the corrigated dirt track in - but well worth a stay here. Remember the sand fly spray!
