an excellent stop over or short break site. Right by the A&P showgrounds so couldn't get better if you are going for an event there.

When we were there, there was heaps of space between the nice flat pitches, but no doubt could get busy during events at the show ground and during summer.

Facilities were basic. Showers leave a lot to be desired, but were at least clean.

Very close to Carterton for all the usual shops and cafes etc.

Far enough away from SH2, so no loud engine breaking lorries to keep you awake at night

And dog frendly
