Fairy Falls is an idyllic fern-draped waterfall that tumbles nearly 100m in a continuous series of pools and drops. The popular track to the falls (especially weekends) is pretty steep, but well-maintained. Expect plenty of steps…and as you arrive at the top of the falls, the track becomes a zigzag staircase alongside the cascades.

The simplest walk is 40 minutes to the base of the falls then back the way you came. If you want a longer loop (90 minutes back to the carpark), then head downstream of the falls for 20m and pick up the track to Mtn. Road. At Mtn Road go up the Old Coach track then turn left on Goodfellow track to get you back to the Fairy Falls track…turn right on Fairy Falls track back to the carpark.

Very nice waterfall. Would be steep climb back, which I didn't do. Instead walked the loop back to the carpark. Tracks can get quite soggy at places after few days of rain. Few good views out from the walkway.
