Cairnmuir Camping Ground

not as bad ad the first reference says when I arrived. nice area. very big showers. lots of new paint. maybe they invested something since first reference.

Old style camping ground, as in 1970s. Lots of room to spread out, take in the views and local beaches.
The tone of this Camp is set as soon as you walk into reception. Tidy in one small area, the rest is a cluttered mess.
The theme applies to the kitchen, toilet/shower block and building surrounds. Youll be greeted with lost and lonely items, tree stumps, fence battans, fencing, broken steps, disheartening really, but thats the way the camp is run.
The smallish Shower - Kitchen block were not serviced by 2pm, after which we departed, maybe it was done after that, who knows.
The owners seem nice enough, shame they cant keep the clutter out of sight and tidy up a little better.
