Western Bay of Plenty Freedom Camp Restrictions

  • Mobile homes are permitted to stay for a maximum of two consecutive nights per calendar month in any one location.
  • Mobile homes are only permitted to park within existing defined carparking areas.
  • Mobile homes must be legally parked at all times.
  • A certified self containment sticker must be displayed on the front windscreen of the mobile home.

Small carpark, on nice flat

Small carpark, on nice flat level ground at the bottom of grassed slope towards entrance. A little bit of a waterview, and walkway to waterfront. Very peaceful spot to spend the night.
