We really enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed our stay here in late March 2016. The kitchen and bathroom facilities are large, clean, and very nice. Campsite was nice and large, too. We liked this place far better than the rainforest place in FJ village, where we stayed the previous night.

I've changed my rating for this park from 3* to 4* - Since my last visit the camp has added a lot of trees, plants and shrubs and looks much improved.

Whilst being clean and tidy -

Whilst being clean and tidy - this park is a bit of a let down. Being situated next to one of New Zealand natural wonders this park is flat and featureless in contrast. If you are planning a trip on the glacier - the office will book the trip for you, and the bus will pick you up from the park. Its a little way out from the village - so not so easy to nip to the local bar/ restaurant.
