if a step back in time is what you are after then this is the place to get your fill.

There's nothing wrong with the site as such; it's location is fantastic and the facilities are more than adequate; it's just all a bit dated.

Mind you, that said the lady running the site was lovely, the pitches flat and well drained, there's water and power to the pillar and the estuary is just a minutes walk away.
Would I stay again - yes
