Lake Pearson Campsite Arthur's Pass. Free DOC site, lots of space, some spots very shady where you can back in close to the lake edge. We have cast a fishing line into the lake several times but with no success. Very pleasant place to stop overnight as parking spots are well back off the highway and sheltered by foliage, traffic noise not a problem. Easy access for high or wide vehicles. Very clean amenities with wheel chair access. Lovely views and a pleasant walk along the lake front track.
