Living Waters of Waikite Valley Thermal Pools

The pools are really nice. Note the pools close at 9 pm, but they start draining then to clean about 8:30, so get your soak in early. Kitchen is quite small, so had to wait in line even though the campground was fairly empty (early April 2016.) Aside from the kitchen being small, it was a very nice campground.

The pools are a must. The camp however is small and very tight if you have a bigger rig I would not get into most sites with my 7mtr van and tow wagon. If in bigger than 6mtr motorhome go and check out before booking in, if camp full will be tight.

most beautiful campsite we stayed in so far. we picked this one because it was closest to waiotapu and were amazed by the pools we could use for free. the walk to the spring is a must do in this area. the campsite is in a thermal area, so expect moist and waterdamp. we would defenitely recommend this campsite.
