beautiful campsite in the forrest! campingspots are a bit small. wifi was 4 dollar for 24 hours, but does not always work at campgrond, but is alright near facilities. facilities alright. quite busy when we were there. close to hot pools. costs about 40 dollars for 2 persons.

Very nice location, parking in a bush like setting.close to shops and restaurants, hot pools. Did some construction, so facilities will improve soon, but still in good condition.

Very nice motor camp only a

Very nice motor camp only a short walk to the center of Franz Josef. Set in the rainforest, with views to the snow capped mountain - the powered sites have plenty of shade, although are a little tight and would be a squeeze for anything over 6m. The facilities block is modern - and held up well when the camp was at capacity. The kitchen/tv room and bbq area ($1 for bbq usage) are attractice - and have outside seating on a covered deck. Onsite is a shop, restaurant and a decent bar. The park and its facilities are kept very clean and tidy. Highly recommended for its facilities, setting and location.
