very pleasant stay, quiet and excellent facilities. large sites and modern lounge kitchen showers and toilets.

Ideal location for start of tour to Doubtful Sound. Lounge and dining areas were superbly situated and large. Kitchen facilities were good though one of the big freezers wasn't working. Areas for tents were adequate but no clearly defined site space and had limited lake views.

20 March 2014 We are here for 3 nights because we are booked to cruise Milford Sound one day and then cruise Doubtfull Sound the next. Booked both excursions at the camp reception, the people here couldn't do enough for us. The Holiday Park is very neat and there seems to be an abundance of chalets, cabins and the like. The kitchen and dining area was well laid out and very clean as were the toilets and showers. A very pleasant place to stay.

One of the best sites in NZ. Beautiful setting with lake views. Staff are very friendly and the grounds are very well landscaped and maintained. The toilets /kitchen/lounge are brand new and very clean, spacious and warm. The lounge is a great place to sit and spend time if the weather is bad. There is a comfortable area with sofas in addition to the dining tables. The lakeside of the building is glass so makes the most of the lake views.
Good value laundry.
We camped but there appeared to be a range of cabin options and some apartments too.
