Waikawa Bay Holiday Park

A very nice place to stop over on either entering or leaving the South Island. Good sized pitches and reasonably priced. The owners were more than helpful and the toilet facilities spotless. So how come just three stars from me? Well the showers, FREE, were just adequate, with little more than a trickle - and my pet hate, way to few hooks. The kitchen was fine for a small site but should it ever get busy then you'd be having a wait and just one internet connection for which you have to pay HEAPS for. Time to embrace the 21st century, up grade the kitchen a bit and FREE internet.

Nice camp, adequate facilities, although Kitchen is undersized for the size of the camp. Sites above ablutions could do with a level out. Very friendly staff. Nice place to finish your stay in the South Island.
