must have changed since beats milking stayed there as this camp is one of the best i've camped in. The showers/toilets were spotless. Heaps of hot water and masses of space to change/wash etc. Would have like a few extra hooks but that's too minor a point to complain about.
Our site was nice and level gravel, the grass site were equally as good.
There was a great kitchen and lounge and the site seemed very popular.
At $35 a night for two on a powered site it wasn't cheap, but when you have the level of facilities like you have here then it does represent good value.
The hosts were friendly and welcoming and ever helpful.
A great place to either visit or stop off for the night.
Masterton is a brief walk away.

Pretty average camp, with old

Pretty average camp, with old facilities block. Handy for Masterton centre - easy walking distance from camp. Friendly staff, and good value at $12 for 1 person.
