$48 for 2 without discount is very expensive, and many will have second thoughts at the office..however this is still the best shower facilities in nz, and is the best spot for a refresh stop. come here for a treat on your travels.

exceptionally well presented campsite that costs a small fortune to stay at. At $42 a night this isn't cheap, so no wonder then that most people who stay here are those from overseas. But if you want a top facility campsite then this would be a good choice
This camp enjoys views of Mt Ruapehu on a clear day, and the sound of a trickling stream along its edge. The shower facilities here are the best of any camp I've visited - each showers changing area has its own radiator and heat lamps above, so no changing in the freezing cold. Theres a games room and spa bath, and a decent play area for children. With its close proximity to Ohakune's shops and walks - and a great base for skiing in the Winter, this motor camp is highly recommended.
