Quiet. Not over-crowded even

Quiet. Not over-crowded even at high season. Great kids adventure playground! Best sites are behind the main office. Beautiful town and great trails up Mt. Te Aroha - and the spa is worth a visit!

Pleasant enough stay here - the shower/toilets were clean and reasonable, and nice to see a pool table. The pools were however empty - and weeds growing out of their surrounds left a feeling this park was past its hey day - added to by the posters in the toilets of people (probably in the 80s) relaxing in said pools. Some gym equipment was available outside - a nice touch I thought - but it was old and rusting away and usuable, better off in the dump. On the whole the park had all I needed, but maybe was better some time ago.
