Very peaceful area to park

Very peaceful area to park overnight, large grassed area sloping gently down to the water, small blocks may be needed in places to level your vehicle. Good spot for fishing with boat ramp close by. If coming in from Tekapo side of Fairlie at Kimbell ( Monument Rd?) we crossed a shallow wide stony bottomed ford-river, no problems getting across. If coming from east side of Fairlie, metal roads all ok. Large area to camp, no traffic, a few local people going fishing, clean toilets.
