having read previous comments on this campsite I almost didn't go - and that would have been a pity.
(the shame about 'reviews' is that their not recent and just a snap shot of that time. The previous reviews are quite old so perhaps things have changed)
we paid $35 for two people and one dog.
Yes the campsite has a bit of a transit feel to it, and that's because it is in a way. One van arrived at 10pm and our neighbour left at 5am; but the facilities are very clean and more than acceptable.
The pitches are better than most and drive through.
What we loved was the walk besides the stream, our dog loved it as well.
I'd stay here again for sure

Stayed here one night and

Stayed here one night and that was enough. Noisy trains frequently pass overhead. Facilities clean but felt dated.

Would not ?holiday? here but convenient as last resort before ferry terminal.

Nice spot to stay. Quite

Nice spot to stay.
Quite location, apart from the occasional train. Welcome was very friendly and services all to a good standard. Pet friendly and dog park just two minutes down riverside track. Sites are spacious with easy access for caravans. Will call again.

Paid $32 for 2 people powered

Paid $32 for 2 people powered site.
Only stayed 1 night - and weather wasnt the best, the camp is located along side a stream, surrounded by native bush which no doubt looks more attractive on a sunny day. The power sites were of a good size, and the facilities were extremely clean - however the overall ambience of the place was lacking something. The location is a little further away from the town center than other Picton motor camps.
